One of the most important questions need to be answered by fluid inclusionists is: How to use microthermometric and Raman spectrometer measurements to obtain salinity, gas composition, density, isochore or internal pressure of fluid inclusions, essential in the interpretation of formation conditions of geological bodies? Equations of state or thermodynamic models play critical roles in bridging the instrument measurable variables and those not easily measurable.
Finding the most accurate equation of state (EOS) or thermodynamic models can be a challenge for most fluid inclusionists. Based on our comprehensive evaluation of various EOS, we select the most accurate EOS or thermodynamic models up to date to develop fluid-inclusion online calculation package. Just choose the fluid inclusion system on the webpage, you are asked to input some measurable information, the online program will help you calculate the salinity, or gas composition, density, internal pressure, isochore.
The online program is still under development, your comments or suggestions are welcome, please send e-mails to duanzhenhao@gmail.com or maoshide@cugb.edu.cn
